The Porsche 968 had one mission: inherit the mantles of the 924 and 944. This 968 is particularly sporty, especially the Turbo S variant handmade at Weissach. Despite being a civilian version of the competition 968 Turbo S, this is far more than a regular series car. Initially intended for a production of 50 to 100 units, in the end Porsche only produced 16, of which 14 were actually sold. This was mainly due to its rather prohibitive pricetag. Today, it is a collector’s legend, sought after by all Porsche aficionados who dream of its magnesium rims, its Naca bonnet vents and adjustable wing.
